A large database is the result of team-work and many scientists have contributed to the success of the PAULING FILE since the project was launched in 1995. The core of the editor team of the PAULING FILE is made of scientists with university degrees in chemistry or physics and personal experience in research in materials science. The majority of them work full time on the project, which is a necessity in order to ensure efficiency at work and a homogeneous result.
